Slobodan,
The owner of the local Volvo salvage yard, with whom I have dealt for years,
has a shop and expert Volvo mechanics on the premises. With a ready supply
of necessary used parts, I get affordable service on the 89, which, at the
rate we drive it, only needs to go to the shop once a year.
In my younger days, I was very familiar with all of the junkyards within a
thirty mile radius. I actually miss those days, but, with today's
electronics, trying to do it all yourself is just not an option. And then
there is the difference in age.....
