We first bought a used 1980 V6 sedan, and enjoyed it. When we decided to replace it, she picked out a new, 1989, white 740 wagon. It has been her car ever since. For reliability, we bought a 2007 V70 wagon, which we use for trips, but the old 740 and my old pickup get the most use.
