There's an online store that does R-EOS adapters called enjoyyourcamera.com, their adapters are reasonable priced, well machined, a tight fit and are available with and without focus confirmation chips - they are also easier to release than the Novoflex offerings. As to the precise machining of the thicknesses: I would reckon that a precision engineering company like Novoflex offers the very best beause of the reputation for quality they have to live up to. Kindai also has an excellent reputation, but they are rather difficult to find.
