Just to clarify. Lightroom 3 has the same engine as Adobe Camera Raw 6.1. It contains all of the noise reduction benefits amongst other things. You will see immediate noticeable improvements in your existing catalog files (especially M8 higher ISO files) when you change from Process 2003 to 2010.
