Precisely (my point)

High ISO performance is wonderful
yet far from the only consideration to strive for
in sensor development or purchase.

Every genre of photography
has different requirements.
Sports needs fast lenses and high ISO.
Fashion needs color fidelity and fine detail.
Every genre needs a dynamic range.
Etc.

The "look" of the photograph
remains the personal aesthetic challenge.
And we each have to choose the lens, sensor and software
which will bring us closest to the "look"
that suits our style and intentions
(and falls within our budget).

The choices
from iPhone to P65+
from lens baby to Leica glass
make it exciting and as difficult as ever.

(And I don't think R USERS are looking for the lowest point of entry.
I and others are looking for quality that exceeds the DMR, meets the M9,
and approaches the S2 however with a 24x36 sensor)
