I voiced it here because I know this is a forum where people can discuss things maturely. Seriously though, like I said, the guy probably was using what he would normally use. It's a valid comparison just because of that. If he had a Sigma 50/1.4, he probably would have used that. It's NOT the best sensor to sensor comparison, I agree with you. It's a camera system to camera system comparison. For fun. As stated in the article. I'm not an expert on these lenses, and I know sites like the following need to be taken with a HUGE grain of salt, but I don't notice any particularly differences in sharpness between the 24-70 and the 24-105 at 50mm and f/4 here: <http://tinyurl.com/24e9jfu> (the-digital-picture)
