"I'll take your landsapes over his in the blink of an eye! WHY! AA's are merely big piles of rocks and ferns as sterile as a neutered Monk! Yours on the other hand? They are alive, are awesome and just plain old fashion "damn that's a beautiful photograph!" They bring life and inspiration for any landscape shooter!! I like shooting landscapess, but I do them as a time for relaxation while coming down from some hard ass assignment of long hour days! It's trully an R&R time for me. I turn off my bionic ears and I'm basically in a world of silence with the land and my cameras. cheers, ted ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Adler" <rgacpa at yahoo.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2011 8:28 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] what are the most important aspects of a photographicimage? Curious if folks feel that applies to landscapes too... Are the majority of impactful landscape photos BW or color? or both? I don't know if it's right to leave Adams out of the mix as he essentially has defined landscape photography for our generation. Maybe try to think of more recent landscape images that have impacted you. Just curious as one who concentrates more on landscape photography...
