Subject: [Leica] 503CW vs. 553ELX

How come a used 553ELX is about 40% of the price of a used 503CW? The ELX
has the motor drive builtin so it has more features but cost less?

I know the 503CW is still in production. Is that the reason?

Also, is there a downside to using the PM5 right angle viewer?
