Subject: [Leica] Slightly OT - macro photography with coupled lenses

I want to experiment with higher magnification macro photography.
If I couple a reversed 50mm f1.8 lens to my 70-200 L series zoom, I
should, in theory, be able to obtain a magnification ratio of up to 4X

Has anyone tried this technique particularly using a telephoto zoom as a
prime and a reversed 50mm as a supplementary lens? I'd be interested to
find out how you got on.

Thanks

Mark
