Geoff... it is slower with 1 step. At least it is on my Widoze machine. 2
steps is considerably faster. Why? I have no idea....

Frank I see no advantage in doing in two steps what can be achieved in one.
That is to say you can elect to copy as DNG (which automatically applies
lossless compression too or just copy (both those options will optionally
make a second copy at a separate location as well) or move. After tht LR
uses the same functionality as your computer will. Remember those functions
are simultaneous with the catalog functions.
