A wide shrinks everything making it all seem far far away. While a slit camera just gets it all and you just look from side to side in the wide format. It seems close. This to me is a gold mine of image making. And I've never had a Widelux or circuit camera. But I find now with the ability to stitch and merge images later with different parameters its a dream come true. If I click once and I feel like I needed more I just move to the needed area and click again. But as you know I normally don't like it looking seamless. As it seems to me to be more interesting when you can see each shot for what it was. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panoramic_photography -------------------- Mark William Rabiner * Or Noblex and Horizon. > From: Bob Adler <rgacpa at yahoo.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Mon, 18 Apr 2011 11:38:29 -0700 (PDT) > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: [Leica] OT: Technical Question- Panning vs WA Lens > > I am trying to understand if I can take a wide angle photo using > panning/stitching with a normal lens that would look like it was taken > with a > WA > lens.
