Oops!  Marty, I made a mistake.  When I sent that last message, my 50  
Summicron was on my camera.  That lens stops turning at 0.7, at the  
left side of the '0' engraving, to be precise.  My 35 Summicron turns  
beyond the 0.7 engraving, and retains coupling.  That makes me think  
it is coupling to a closer distance.
