Different backs have different ways of doing it, but the commonality among all backs for "large format" type lenses is a cable from the PC socket on the lens to a port (mini jack in my case) on the back. Bob bob how do u trigger a digital back from this kind of camera. i read the review on http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/alpa_stc_review.shtmlwas quite impressed.
