I think as long as you don't believe that a rangefinder *must* be manual  
focus (and the Contax G takes this into somewhat of a gray area), the  
process is very similar.  Using manual focus lenses on these bodies,  
however, is a completely different story.  My NEX (with adapted M lenses)  
feels more like a TLR than anything else.
