I would certainly contact them then and explain exactly what you have happening. You know the guy to talk with for ANZ customers? Get me off list if I didn't already pass that to you. I would expect that wide open it should be spot on (for sure within DoF) in close if camera and everything else is correct. PS there's an APO Summicron 75 on eBay here currently.
