And checking the image later to see if you hit your focus or not.... Can you see individual eyelashes? Its the name of the game. Kind of like an acutance and resolution test. When its one blur and you can see individual hairs then I'm not happy. And it why paying extra for Leica glass can be worth it and also using an ultra accurate mechanical focusing mechanism like one has found in the Leica M's since the mid 50's.
