No one "taught" me to be a news photographer, I did not get training to photograph flowers; though I've led a few classes in photography, I've never taken one. Mostly, I look. I don't always share what I see either. When I do, I call it photography. Johnny Deadman (once on this list) called photography a "higher form of pointing."
