Steve I just don't follow what you are trying to achieve here.
You don't think that the LUG should contain the (part) Leica content it
does?
It was never exclusively Leica, at least since I've been here.
I don't think that anyone's suggested that you can't take great photos with
other equipment either. We see plenty of evidence to the contrary shared
here.
It's Brian's baby of course and it shall be LUG in its current format for
as long as he wishes and is generous enough to provide the service that he
does for us.

Personally I'm not interested in a CUG. I'm very active in the L Camera
Forum though. Each of us only speaks for themselves. I joined the LUG
because of the Leica content, while enjoying the rest that the LUG has to
offer of course. Pretty obvious that I try to contribute on Leica and
photos made with Leica here of course. I shoot a lot of other stuff.

I do think that the LUG Yearbook is a significant representation of the LUG
though. That is why the next one will reflect exactly that too, because it
is the wish of the membership over just my personal preferences ;-)

Your contributed photos in the current book seem to match the nature of the
LUG very well, I should think. One with M9 and Noctilux and another with a
Sony and a Summicron. That's one excellent toned monochrome study (that I
would be thrilled to have made) and a clever bit of seeing in the other.

Cheers
Geoff
