The first Leica mass market digitals, the Digilux and the Digilux Zoom, were allegedly designed by Porsche. Basically they were repackaged Fuji 1700 and 1700 Zoom cameras sold at a 50% markup in price. As I said, par for the course. Larry Z - - -? "I would love to understand the real reasons for Leica going to Audi for the design. They make good cars, but aren't exactly renowned for their cameras. I suppose it was just a prestige thing to bump up the price." Peter
