ISO? the 280 without the extender - right? Shutter speed between 1/500 sec and 1/1000 sec, aperture f/5.6, ISO 400, the 280 by itself (no extender). Slight crop for both photos. Last evening I sat by the feeder while the mob (at least 6, maybe 10, 2 species) battled it out for their last few sips of the day. My chair was just over 1 meter from the feeder and on numerous occasions they hovered inches from me while waiting for a more dominant bird to leave. Great show. Thanks for looking, Howard.
