Also, I am sure of my settings, which specify that the printer is not repeat NOT to do any color management. All settings are the ones that used to work perfectly. The test pictures are not that far out of gamut. They have bveen used before as printer tests. However, the printer has been idle for about a year, and I don?t know the state of the cartridges. While the printer heads are part of the printer, it is obvious that there is a mechanism (probably a pump) in the cartridges, because they have an electrical contact panel which has a protective cover and a warning not to touch it after cover removal. The difficulty I have now, intending to, as a start to replace the two cyan cartridges, is that this ?clever? machine, as far as I can tell, does not allow me to even open the cover of the cartridge container until there is at least one that requires replacement because of exhaustion. The unit ordinarily settles in a position where the cover cannot be opened, but settles in one where it can be opened when it knows you have to replace a cartridge. I?ll have to see if Epson has a customer service . kanner at acm.org If you question authority, the authorities will question you. > On Apr 13, 2017, at 8:34 PM, RicCarter <ric at cartersxrd.net> wrote: > > does an ink test show all head working? > > ric > > >> On Apr 13, 2017, at 11:11 PM, herbertkanner <hkanner at sonic.net> wrote: >> >> Hi folks.
