Let alone the testing many of lads carry out checking. I usually bought LEICA GLASS for LEICA bodies and expected them to be LEICA perfect!!! And rarely if ever did any type of tests. Click it on the body right into photo=battle. However? I did buy a 15mm Voigtlander for the M and it's "cool!" The images continue to amaze me what it covers? I have made many 16X20 prints and they're beautiful in colour or B&W. I suppose in my simple mindedness I can only say the "prints always look cool!"Providing I've held the camera perfectly correct. I rarely ever used a tripod at anytime. cheers, ted -----Original Message----- From: LUG [mailto:lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Paul Roark Sent: December-16-17 2:18 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] DXO Mark Leica M10 Score On Sat, Dec 16, 2017 at 11:28 AM, CJ andS <csaganich at gmail.com> wrote: > Compatible with every Leica lens ever made? It that correct? ?Sony's are not nearly as good as the Leica M with Leica M wide angles. The Sony cover glass is thick and gives Leica M wides a curved field of focus. I had Kolarivision put a thin cover glass on one of my Sony's. Still, it's not as good with the M wides. The Leica M9 microlenses over the sensor are apparently more tuned to wide angles. That said, I now shoot a Sony with the the OEM thicker cover glass and use a Loxia 21 which is designed for the thicker glass. I think is better than any similar wide I had on my M9.?
