Mystique.!Leica New > York was sending them out to those who asked for them
Yes, I!subscribe, so I got it. We've been hashing it out since on Compuserve
in the Photoforum, where the author hangs out.

For those of you who are not on!Compuserve, it's a great place to talk Leica
and photography in general. And!now with their lower prices (first 5 hours
in forums free) it's a bargain!with an offline reader. (I don't work for
CIS).

I'm glad to hear Leica is!trying to catch up. They are going to have a heck
of a time. I figure about!the time my EOS1n wear out, I'll be ready to go
back to an autofocus Leica.!Yeow, but that 180 Apo Summicron sounds like
fun. And at $6,200 - a bargain compared to the Zeiss 200 f/2 which costs
about twice as much!

Latest rumor!I've heard though it that Leica won't have autofocus in the R8,
but it will!be focus confirmation like the Contax RX. Seems like the best
are going tobe duking it out! Looking forward to it. TW, I'm about to
contact you to do some wheeling and dealing. Get your number runcher out.
