Thanks for all the feedback on removal of the 50 Summicron head.  After
reading all of the postings I sat down with the lens (my c1967 ser
#2108759)and sure enough one sharp snap was all it took!  The head then
parted smoothly from the helicoid just as it was meant to.  It was then
quite obvious that this was the design, much as with a Hecktor or Elmarit -
unmistakable.

Now, if anyone out there has a SOOKY-M for sale I would like to purchase it.
The type of work I do - nature, woods, leaves, trees, etc. -  requires close
focus and the ability to use my Ms would be a delight!  Thanks again.
