It does not have an exposure lock (very unfortunate), but it does offer
exposure compensation: 2 stops either way in 1/2 stops, locked in the zero
position by a little detent knob. The exposure comp. dial surrounds the
shutter button, and with a little practice, it is very easy and quick to
depress the little knob and dial in 1/2 or 1 stop overexposure (the most
common need) in a single motion and with a single finger. It sounds complex
but it isn't.

An exposure lock/hold feature would have been _much_ more useful, but...
