Yes, it's a Panda. They only built them for about two months, when they 
ran out of chrome parts. There is no special engraving, and it's not 
really a "special edition." Mine does have an interesting serial number 
(important only to collectors, to whom my camera won't be that 
interesting, it has a slight ding on the bottom) 177277.
