The only person I've heard of wearing out an M camera was David Vestal. And
Mike Johnstone, editor of Photographic Techniques (or whatever the magazine
that used to be Darkroom and Creative Camera Techniques - not the Larry
Flint publication, the other one - can't ever remember its name) tells us on
Compuserve that Vestal can't afford to replace it. Such is the life of the
famous photo magazine writers. A certain other magazine editor I won't
mention because he's not here to defend himself should be so lucky he could
take a picture to save his life, or compare with anything Vestal does, and
he has camera equipment coming out the wazoo! 

There is no justice in the world. :-P
