Subject: CLE and OM2 Metering
From: Ed Hackett <edh@maxey.dri.edu>

The OM2 used two separate metering systems, one for manual, and one for
the auto/otf metering. There was on OM1 built into the OM2. The "OM1"
CDS cells were active all the time, metering in manual and
moving the needle to indicate about what exposure would be set in the
auto mode. The silicon cells of the OM2 measured the actual exposure at
the film plane in auto.
