Leica made a variant of the first-generation rigid Summicron in BM which
included a set of "eyes":  when these were clipped on, this allowed "near
focusing", thus producing the NF designation as used by Leitz.  The lens,
which came in two distinct versions, is also know, somewhat breezily, as a
"dual-range" Summicron.
