Tom, I am a regular user of Leica and Canon screwmounts
with Leica and Canon lenses. No matter how much I may
praise M-series Leicas and no matter how great its bayonet
lenses may be, I personally prefer the Leica screwmounts or
their Canon equivalent. The lenses I use are the 50mm
collapsible Summicron, the 50mm Canon f/1.8, the 50mm
Summarit f/1.5, the 50mm Jupiter f/1.5, the 35mm f/2.8
Russian Jupiter, the Russian 28mm f/6.0 screwmount, the
85mm Canon f/1.9, the 85mm f/2.8 Steinheil, the 90mm Elmar
f/4, the 100mm Canon f/3.5 and the 135 Canon f/3.5. I use the
most the 50mm Summarit (for low light), Canon 50mm f/1.8,
the 28mm f/6.0 and the 135mm Canon. I used to use the
35mm f/2.8 Jupiter a lot until I got my Hexar, which takes its
place. I use the 85mm Canon f/1.9 for my telephoto low
light work.
