Henk Thijs asked about M42 to Leica R adapters.  You don't need this.  The
Russian MTO lenses all have three screws holding the M42 collar onto the
lens.  Loosen these and take the collar off.  Get a Leica R T-Mount adapter
-- it's collar will also be held by three screws.  Loosen these screws,
remove this collar, and install it onto the MTO lens.  Voila!  A Leica R
MTO!  It DOES work:  I've done it.

Clever, these Soviets ...
