There assuredly ARE threads, 36.6mm I think. Leica made a range of filters
for this size, as did B+W and probably Heliopan.  Ednalite and Tiffen both
made Series VI adapters -- I recall that 608 is the Ednalite number, though
I use the Tiffen one myself.
