I've owned a Leica Mini (no roman numeral) for
many years, and I couldn't be happier with it.

My wife bought it for me (!), and at first I
was bummed because of the Japanese plastic body.

But, it has served me well in all kinds of situations,
from kiddie snapshots to Florida sunsets.

Durable, light as a feather, reliable, razor sharp.

If I had to go with another point-and-shooter, though,
I'd go for the minizoom, because of the compositional
flexibility.
