Subject: Bruckner Edition M6

I'm traveling in Germany on business at the moment and in Stuttgart yesterday
came across a M6 limited edition that I had not heard about before, at
Hirrlinger Photo on Gymnasium Strs. It's called the Anton Bruckner edition and
consists of an M6 covered with truely ugly blue coloured leatherette. The lens
is a 50mm collapsable f/2.8 Elmar and both body and lens are engraved. It all
comes in a wooden presentation box with a boxed set of Bruckner CDs!!

The price -- hold your hats -- DM 14,300, or about US $10,000.

The same store window had the famous and extreemly rare 200mm f/2.0 Zeiss APO
Sonnar for Contax, at a mere 12,900 DM.

Ah well.
