The way it was explained to me, the cameras made at the Solms facility
(perhaps earlier?) have a more sensitive - +/-2EV - meter. Yes Dan, when the
lens cap is on, or when the light is insufficient the right side LED flashes
rapidly. This feature is nice.

I had a choice of a Wetzlar M6 and the latest. I chose the latter for the
reasons described above.
