Subject: Leica meter MR-4

Greetings from Nepal,

I just picked up a MR-4 meter for my M4-P and am wondering how to
zero the thing as needless to say, manuals are in short supply in this
country. My guess so far is that you cover the light inlet, turn on the
meter and then zero it with the screw on the back. I would appreciate if
knowing if this is the proper method or not.

I usually use a 1 degree Pentax spot meter modified by Zone VI
Studios for my 4x5 work but I like the idea of a small on camera meter for
street work with the Leica. Has anyone out there had experience with the
MR-4 meter? How accurate is it? Thanks in advance.

Ian
