I used to have an older one on an M4-2.  It was fine for transporting a body 
and
lens combo where it might get knocked around during transport.  Once I was
where I thought I'd be photographing a lot, I'd take off the upper portion 
(or the
whole thing) and leave it behind.  I never cared for the upper portion 
hanging
below the rest of the camera.  It was a bit difficult to open and close the 
case
quickly with the MR-4 meter on the camera.
