I replaced it with a Nikon F4 :-)

In the short term, I called up Leica USA service and they sent me out a
free replacement gasket. Even if you had to pay for it, the cost is nominal
and could possibly be had through Minolta as well (XD-11? XG-7?) It simply
sticks into place after you've thoroughly cleaned away the mess left by the
original. Might want to check your mirror cushion to see that it's not in
the same condition.
