Have you ever try the water based paint from Mr.Colour which is for
painting plastic models? The paint itself is water soluble before
hardening. You can put appropiate among of paint over the engraving
quickly and evenly.(need not to be very careful) And then, try to
remove excess paint with dry and wet tissue alternatively. Because the
paint is water soluble, you can remove the paint sucessfully with a
wet tissue when the paint is fresh.

Does anyone have a tried and true procedure for refilling the white paint in
the engraving on a leica? I've several lenses and a body that have lost most
of the fill in the engraving and it bugs the hell out of me.

Not to be rude, but I'm looking for what works, not some ideas to try (I'm
sick of experimenting).

Anybody?
