Assuming you mean a moderated newsgroup, I take it that you volunteer 
as moderator? 

Guys, all you need is a slick email-client which can filter incoming 
mail to different folders, each for every mailinglist. The only thing 
they lack is threading, but you could sort each folder on subject, 
effectively threading them.
One of the best dedicated freeware email-clients is Pegasus/WinPmail 
(Eudora Light and Free Agent don't filter, Eudora Pro and Agent do, 
but are not freeware). A good site for Net-software is:
