Fuji will cheerfully supply anyone who asks for them with data sheets on
their films and these indicate suitable filtration for longer shutter
opening times, and their suggested longest suitable exposure times,
beyond which one is truly on one's own. For Velvia they suggest;

Time(sec)->  1/4000 to 1     4      8     16      32      64
CC filter->   None          5M    7.5M   10M     12.5M   Not recommended
Exp corr.->   None         +1/3   +1/2   +2/3    +1       "  "
The "+" exposure corrections mean lens diaphragm opening increased by
indicated value.
