     Hi,

As far as I know, M4-2 is always less than M4-P, say about $200 in
the same condition. My choice, however, would be the M3. The M3
along with the M2 is least expensive and give much better viewfinder.

     Regards,
     David

Greetings,

I've never used a CL but I understand it doesn't have viewfinder
frames for the 50mm or 35mm lenses. A 40mm lens was made for the
camera and there is a 40mm frame in the viewfinder.

An M2 or an M4-P would be the least expensive body giving you frames
for 50 and 35 mm lenses.

M4, M4-2 and M6 also would give you those frames but they tend to be
more expensive.

Any M series body can be repaired by either Leica of numerous shops
all over the world. That may not be the case with the CL.
