Subject: Re: 35/1,4 on a CLE

Michiel,
The 35/2 (latest version) cannot be used on the CLE. If the lens is set at
infinity, it will fit, otherwise it cannot be attached. When fitted at
infinity, it can be focused just a little bit. Why? Well, I do not know.
Other lenses worked fine, as the 28/2,8(second version) and 50/2 (first and
third versions). SM lenses like 50/3,5 and 90/4,0 via adapter also worked
fine.
I found this 35/2-problem strange, but I did not investigate it more than
this. I was more than happy with the 28 and 40 mm Rokkors.
So, my conclusion is: Try the lens on your CLE before you buy!
BTW, the 28 mm Rokkor will not show the 28 mm frames on an M-body.
Regards, Hans
