Her advice to me was that althought the lens could be repaired, that I sell
it for about $300 and purchase one withoutht the problem. She said that
that would be less expensive than replaceint the rear element. She was
correct and I followed her advice, selling the lens to a Japaneese buyer
who was aware the lens had a problem.
