Don't use it on a M6 made after 1985-86.
There is a plate on the top of the chamber who touch the bayonet of the
adapter.
Or ask a technician to cut a piece of the bayonet.

That adapter was made originally for the Leicina, not for the Leica-M,
that's why the bayonet is not exactly the same.
