One of the first lenses I bought for my R system (back in the 70's) was the
24mm. To me, it us truly a workhorse. It's wide enough to be WIDE but not
wide enough to say WIDE. Does that make sense? I have a 15mm (spoke about
it the other day) and love it. It's WIDE! and says WIDE! I also had a 19mm
but it wasn't something I used much so I sold it. I ALWAYS have my 24mm
lens with me, even when traveling ultra-light. R body, 24mm, 35-70,
polarizers and KR3 warming filters, in the corner of my briefcase. In my
estimation, the 24 is the best all-around wide angle lens.
