Subject: Cam Question for R lenses

Dear Fellow LUGnuts,

I had an serious episode of emotional weakness and bought a used Leicaflex
SL. I am trying to secure a research grant to obtain either the 60mm Macro
or 100mm Apo-macro lenses (or both!!).

Now the questions: If I am planning on using the macro lenses on either a
Leicaflex SL or SL2, do I need two cam lenses or three cam lenses? I guess
you can never have enough cams, right?

If I eventually get an R8 (I still believe in miracles - right Ted?) will
these lenses work with the metering system in the R8?

Thanks for the answer. Just when I thought I was about done with putting
together a decent M system, now I've got to start over with an R system. I
think Leica did this to me by beaming microwaves at me from the Mir
spacecraft. Hpw else would I have a momentary lapse of reason and buy a
Leica relfex camera?

Best regards,

Richard
