Subject: HCB in action

One thing that struck me in the recent article about HCB was that virtually
all of the pictures of him in action showed a universal viewfinder on top
of his Leica. I could not tell whether he had a 50mm or a 90mm on the
camera, but I wonder if he used it as a matter of course. Does a 50mm
Elmar partially block the viewfinder as does a Summitar? Or is it just
easier to frame quickly with the auxiliary viewfinder?

Not a major issue, but interesting.
