Well, the Rollei 35mm SLR system was in production from the late 1960's
until 1995, so it did have a rather long run.  And their TLR's do have a
lot of 'backwards compatibility' in them:  my Prewar Magnar, for instance,
will fit ANY Bayo I camera from the 1930's to the last T made thirty years
later.
