Thanks for the recommendations.  For red rock and bright blue sky Velvia
seemed to be the consensus.  I'm a chrome neophyte, so in the interest
of experimentation I added some Agfachrome 50 & 100 as I like the
natural balance of the Agfacolor range and thought these may be similar.

If I get results worth the effort I'd like to try a cibachrome or two.
Its all fun, isn't it?
